IN-HOUSE PET DIAGNOSTICS
We rely on our diagnostic equipment when we need to figure out why a patient is sick.

Even if your pet seems healthy, they could have an underlying health condition that has yet to start causing symptoms.

Unfortunately, when such conditions go undetected, they often become more serious problems. At Club Hill Animal Clinic, we perform in-house pet diagnostics to monitor patients' baseline values and their continual health. We also rely on our diagnostic equipment to determine why a patient is sick. By offering these services in-house, we can obtain answers and begin patients on the best course of treatment quickly. Plus, taking advantage of our in-house services is less stressful for you and your pet than visiting an unfamiliar clinic.

OUR IN-HOUSE DIAGNOSTIC CAPABILITIES

Our in-house laboratory allows us to perform several different blood, urine, and fecal tests without sending your pet or their samples to another facility. These tests let us evaluate organ function, monitor white and red blood cell counts, check blood sugar and electrolytes, test for heartworm and other internal parasites, and more.

Please note that we sometimes need to send samples to an outside laboratory for specialized pet tests we are not equipped to perform in-house. In this situation, we will explain everything to you upfront, so there won't be any surprises.

FAST AND ACCURATE PET LAB WORK

At Club Hill Animal Clinic, we are equipped with advanced in-house diagnostic tools that allow us to provide rapid and accurate results, helping us to diagnose and treat your pet’s health issues promptly. Our comprehensive suite of pet diagnostic tests includes:

Complete Blood Count (CBC): Essential for assessing overall health and detecting a variety of disorders, including anemia and infection.

Senior Pet Blood Panel: Tailored to detect health issues in older pets, such as kidney, liver, and heart diseases.

Fecal Exams: Crucial for identifying gastrointestinal parasites that can affect your pet’s health.

Urinalysis: Provides insights into the health of your pet’s urinary tract system and can detect conditions such as urinary tract infections and diabetes.

Heartworm Testing: Critical for detecting heartworm disease, which can be fatal if left untreated.

These pet diagnostics are vital for preventive health care and are pivotal in our ability to offer comprehensive care under one roof. This approach ensures that critical health decisions are made swiftly and treatments can begin immediately
