PET VACCINATIONS

We’re here to help ensure that your beloved companion has the protection they need.
Pet parasites like fleas, ticks, and heartworms are more than just a nuisance.
Modern vaccines are safe and do an excellent job of safeguarding animals against a wide range of preventable — and often deadly — diseases. At Club Hill Animal Clinic, we perform pet vaccinations in Garland and are here to help ensure that your beloved companion has the protection they need. We administer both core and lifestyle vaccines and will assist you in determining which ones your dog or cat needs.

CORE AND LIFESTYLE VACCINES FOR PETS

The Rabies vaccine is required by law in Texas for all dogs and cats older than four months. However, that isn’t the only crucial pet vaccine, as several additional core vaccines are equally important. We typically recommend the combination DAPP shot for dogs and the FVRCP shot for cats. The DAPP shot prevents distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza, and parvo, while the FVRCP protects cats from rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia.

We also offer a number of pet vaccines based on lifestyle factors. We’ll ask you a series of questions to determine which ones are right for your companion. A cat who spends all their time indoors has different needs than one who goes outside. And dogs who visit daycare, boarding, or grooming facilities need vaccines that other dogs don’t. By working with you to determine your canine companion or feline friend’s needs, we can protect them from the diseases they are most likely to encounter without over-vaccinating.

A PLAN FOR YOUR PET’S SHOTS

Our veterinarians at Club Hill Animal Clinic provide personalized vaccination plans for the unique needs of pets at every stage of life. We offer detailed schedules for initial vaccinations and subsequent booster shots for puppies and kittens, which are crucial for building a robust immune foundation. Our team will explain the importance of each puppy and kitten vaccine and the timing of boosters to ensure your young pets develop robust immunity. As pets mature into their senior years, our approach adapts to their changing health dynamics. We provide safe vaccination options that consider the specific needs of older pets, minimizing risks while protecting them against preventable diseases.
